Saudi OFW built his P1.2M dream house for mom…
This was posted originally last 2015 on the website JBSOLIS.COM.
This the inspiring story of OFW Jeffrey Balane who first worked in UAE, and then in Saudi Arabia. He started working abroad with a simple goal — to build a house for his parents, especially for his mom, Sabia. He dreamed his mom to have a house that she can call her own.
After 5 years of patience, determination and hardwork, Jeff was able to earn and save an ample amount of money to finally realize his dream house.
On May 2015, 2015, the construction of his dream house started. He spent P160K for labor cost to build an 80 square meter house. He was the one who purchased the materials and fixtures needed for the construction to ensure best quality. He hired the Colour Roof Company to install the roofing. His dream house has 3 bedrooms with its own bathroom each and 1 common CR.
However, sadly, a few months before the construction was over his mother passed away due to a heart attack. She didn’t live to see the house completed, the greatest gift Jeffrey could ever give to his most beloved mother.
In a short caption to the photos of his house, Jeff said:
